Obituary for Frank Joseph Licitra Sr. Frank Joseph Licitra, Sr. 87, of Ft. Myers, FL died Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at Gulf Coast Medical Center after an extended illness. He was born February 12, 1931 in Brooklyn, NY a son of the late Joseph and Angelina (neé Mazzaresi) Licitra.

Frank had been a resident of Ft. Myers for the past 25 years moving here from Middle Village, NY. He was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church, a member of the Holy Name Society and a 1st Degree member of the Knights of Columbus.

After graduating high school he began his career with the U.S. Postal Service and retired after 30 years of service. On September 27, 1952 he married the love of his life, the former Marilyn H. Greenberg and moved to Middle Village, NY where they raised their family of three children. All were involved with the Ridgewood-Middle Village Little League for over 30 years.

Frank’s love of baseball and sports overall became a life long family tradition. Frank is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Marilyn H. Licitra of Ft. Myers, FL; 3 children, Joseph Licitra and his wife, Laurie of Peachtree City, GA, Francine Wolf and her husband, Hank of Ft.

Myers, FL and Frank Licitra and his wife, Jean of Ft. Myers, FL; his brother, Lorenzo Licitra and his wife, Virginia of New York ; three grandchildren, Brian Aigner and his wife, Lauren, Michael Licitra and Lindsey Licitra and one great grandson, Frank Aigner. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11:00 AM at St. Columbkille Catholic Church 12171 Iona Rd.
