BILA, Franklin D. – of Chesaning, age 78, died Friday, June 15, 2018 surrounded by his family at his home. Frank was born March 19, 1940 in Owosso to the late Peter and Stephanie (Yarabek) Bila and was a resident of Chesaning most of his life. He was united in marriage to Shirlene “Sue” Dula on May 28, 1960 in Oakley.

Mr. Bila was an engineer for 30 years then became a builder for the past 25 years. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Oakley for many years. Frank enjoyed hunting, fishing and being at the lake with his grandchildren.

Surviving are: Wife, Shirlene “Sue” Bila; Children: Brian (Lisa) Bila of Laingsburg, Bradley (Judy) Bila of Chesaning, Brett (Kelly) Bila of Owosso, Brooke (Todd) Wykes of Owosso; Grandchildren: Hailey, Ashley, Braden, Brooklyn, Carly, Colton, Avery, Lincoln, Shayna and Mitchell; Brother, Richard (Shirley) Bila of Oakley; several nieces and nephews. His sister, Dorothy Stoll, preceded him in death on February 7, 2014. Fr.

Joe Miller will officiate the funeral service at the Misiuk Funeral Home in Chesaning on Monday, June 18, 2018 at 6 PM. Visitation will be from 12 Noon until time of services. Cremation will follow.
