Obituary for Franklin “Frank” Bailey Franklin D. Bailey, 84, of Battle Creek, passed away Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Laurels of Bedford in Battle Creek. He was born April 28, 1934 in Battle Creek, the son of Harold L. and Harriett G. (Bush) Bailey. Frank retired from Hayes-Albion Foundry after 30 plus years of service.

He served in the US Army stationed in Hawaii. Frank married Elsie Elliott who preceded him in death at the young age of 47 in 1981. He enjoyed spending time with his family.

Frank was quick witted, had a great sense of humor, and Frank’s personality was such that when you met him you knew where you stood. He is survived by his daughter, Sherrie (Charles) Walling; grandson, Charles (Jessica) Walling; granddaughter, Sonia (Stephen) Jones; great grandchildren, Curtis and Samantha Walling; and 2 great great grandsons. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elsie Bailey; brother, Harold Bailey; and sister, Yvonne Kimble.

Services have already taken place. Burial was held at the Floral Lawn Memorial Gardens in Battle Creek, MI.
