Frank Turkal, 91 was born on October 4, 1926, the son of Mark and Mary Turkal in Massillon and died on September 12, 2018. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George and Joe. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Rose, son Tim Turkal, daughter Martha Shaffer (Howard), grandchildren, Abby Waldrop (Jarod), Nathan Shaffer (Brittany) and Annie Nagle (Evan), 3 great grandchildren, sisters, Catherine Haubert and Anna Herrick, brother Rudy Turkal (Bobbie) and many nieces and nephews.

He was a 1945 graduate of Washington High School, a WWII veteran and retired from Diebold and ElectraCord. Frank held God’s word the Bible in high esteem and worshiped with the Massillon Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses as a longtime member. The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 22nd from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with a memorial service to follow at 1:00 pm.
