Ricky L Deitsch, age 68 of Massillon, passed away September 10, 2018, following a brief illness. He was born July 8, 1950, son of late Robert and Bessie Deitsch. He graduated from Crestline High School in 1968.

He served in the U.S. Army in 1970, during the Vietnam War, where he received the National Defense Service Medal and Purple Heart Medal. Ricky was an avid Cleveland Indians fan. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents and step-mother Sherry Deitsch.

He is survived by his wife Carol (Ream) Deitsch; his step-sons Jim Gardiner and Patrick (Tiffany) Gardiner; twin brother Randy (Maggie) Deitsch; sisters Lisa (John) Charles, Amy Deitsch; step-sister Lori Collins; step-brother Bradley Collins; sister-in-law Cecelia Dailey; brother-in-law Thomas Dailey; grandchildren Kelcie, Kaleigh, Seth, and Logan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
