Obituary for Gabriel J. Rodriguez II Gabriel Jonathan Rodriguez, II, 19, of Oktaha, Oklahoma passed away, Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was born on April 4, 1999 to Gabriel Johnathan Rodriguez, I and Tonya Marie (Butler) Rodriguez in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Gabe attended Oktaha High School and obtained his GED in 2016.

He had worked at many jobs including construction and assembly work, and most recently he worked at Peco Facet in Tulsa. Gabe aspired to become a private investigator. He loved playing video games such as Call of Duty, Assassin’s Creed and the Batman Arkham Series on his PS4 and Xbox one.

Gabe enjoyed debating politics, reading and watching Netflix and YouTube. His favorite subject in school was history. Gabe loved all of the buildings in downtown Tulsa.

He also loved hanging out with his family and friends whenever he had a chance. Gabe will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Lela and William Butler.

Gabe is survived by his parents, Tonya Rodriguez and husband Tona Mathis of Tulsa, OK and Gabriel Rodriguez, Sr. of Muskogee, OK; grandparents, Steve and Virginia Butler of Oktaha, OK, and Pattie Melear of Houston, TX; siblings, Eli Mathis, Wyatt Mathis, Cody Mathis and Mary Mathis; aunts, Leeann Orman and husband Brian of Muskogee, OK and Angie Butler of Broken Arrow, OK; cousins, Zac and Karissa Orman both of Muskogee, OK; and many other family members and friends. A celebration of Gabe’s life will be 11:00 A.M., Monday, November 5, 2018 at Cornerstone Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Bill Crow officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhill Cemetery with Tona Mathis, Brian Orman, Zac Orman, Dakota Robinson, Austin Debord and Tim Orman serving as pallbearers.
