Gail E. Haywood, 91 of Dunlevy, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 in the Canterbury Place, Pittsburgh. She was born November 14, 1926 in Allenport, the daughter of the late Charles C. and Emma E. Everly Haywood. Gail attended the University of Pittsburgh, a member of the United Methodist Church of Dunlevy and former executive secretary of the NAACP.

Gail retired from the former Fox Grocery Co., where she was the executive secretary for French Fox. She is survived by her brother Roy Haywood of Penn Hills; a niece Carol Pegnataro; four nephews Kenneth Haywood, Franklin Haywood, Mark Haywood and Randy Haywood. In addition to her parent Gail was preceded in death by her brother Franklin Haywood and a niece Debra McCloskey.

Friends will be received Monday, May 28th from 4 to 8 p.m. in the Schrock-Hogan Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 226 Fallowfield Ave. , Charleroi, where funeral services will be led at 11 a.m. with Pastor Lori Walter officiating. Interment will follow in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
