Gary Allen Jones, 74, passed away November 17, 2018 at 8:20 am in his home surrounded by family. He was born October 18, 1944 in Gary, Indiana to Edward and Jennie Jones. Gary was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

He was in the trucking industry for most of his life, working for several companies, including Doug Williams Trucking out of Brazil. He was a member of the Christ Temple Church. Gary loved his family very much, and playing with his grandkids, nieces, and nephews was one of his favorite activities.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers; William, Jack, Dick, Chuck, Donny and Warren, sisters; Wilma, Ruth, and Mary. He is survived by his wife Brenda (m. February 14, 1981), sons; Terry Rooksberry (Melanie), and Keith Rooksberry, brothers, Paul Jones and Larry Jones (Anita), grandchildren; Terry, Keith, Kaitlin, Rylee, and Nathan, and a great grandson, Greyson.

Services for Gary will be Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 1 pm, in Greiner Funeral Home, 2005 North 13th Street, Terre Haute, Indiana, 47804. Visitation is scheduled from 11 am until service time at the funeral home on Tuesday. Pastor Merrill Weir will officiate.
