Gary’s Obituary Gary Carl Potts was born on April 2, 1953 in Clarksville, Texas to Oval Hugh Potts and Helen Philomena (Deviney) Potts. He passed away on January 6, 2019 in his home in Lindsay, Oklahoma at the age of 65. He was raised in Clarksville, Texas before moving to Lindsay, Oklahoma where he lived the last 30 years of his life.

Gary married his wife Glenda Kay (Henry) Potts in Konawa, Oklahoma on December 20, 1980. They were married 39 years. Gary was a member of the Catholic church.

He enjoyed fishing and hunting in his free time, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family. Left to cherish his memory is his wife: Glenda Potts of Lindsay, Oklahoma, three sons: Howard and wife Melissa Dutton of Marlow, Oklahoma, Edward Dutton of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Rodney and wife Jaime Dutton of McAlester, Oklahoma, two daughters: Debra and husband Bart Rushing of Lindsay, Oklahoma, and Faye Arnold of Longview, Texas two sisters: Linda and husband Greg Copelann of Houston, Texas and Paula and husband Tom Leblanc of Houston, Texas, two brothers: Tony and wife Angie Potts of Clarksville, Texas, and Joey Potts of Clarksville, Texas and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Gary is proceeded in death by his parents: Oval and Helen Potts, two brothers: Ronnie Potts and Jackie Potts, and one daughter-in-law: Donna Dutton.

A Graveside Funeral Service to honor the life of Gary will be held Wednesday January 9, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at the Green Hill Cemetery in Lindsay, Oklahoma with Brad Minick officiating. Services are under the direction of Scott and Angel Wilbourn of Boydston-Wilbourn Funeral Home. Condolences may be made to the family online at www.
