Obituary of Gary Ferris Moldenhauer Gary Ferris Moldenhauer, 76, of Bay City, our jovial, tolerant, wise, and loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend was born into eternal life on the morning of February 8, 2019 at his home. Gary was born on June 30, 1942 in Pontiac, the son of the late Harold and Eleanor (Hastings) Moldenhauer. Gary graduated from Saginaw High and went on to Bay City Junior College.

While at a service station, he met the former Rose Marie Partyka. They dated, fell in love, and were united in marriage on July 13, 1963. Their 55 years were blessed with two sons and countless memories.

Sadly, Rose Marie predeceased him in death on May 20, 2018. Gary worked at Walhs Paxson, Paxson Oil, Gulf Oil, Monroe Auto, Ring Auto, and Car Quest Auto Warehouse. Gary belonged to the Genealogical Society and enjoyed fishing, wood working, genealogy, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his two sons, Stephen (Dolores) Moldenhauer and David (Michelle) Moldenhauer. Gary was the wonderful grandfather of Xylina (James) Allender, Xenia (Jeremy) Thomas, Xanadu (Daniel) Moldenhauer, and Michael Moldenhauer. Also surviving are four great-grandsons; brother, Harold (Carole) Moldenhauer; brothers-in-law, Larry (Dorey) Partyka and Mike (Mable) Partyka; sister-in-law, Sue (Jack) Fobear, along with many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Gary was also welcomed home to heaven by Ferris and Mabel Green. Gary’s family will be present to receive visitors on both Sunday and Monday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd. , Hampton Twp.

On Tuesday, February 12, 2019, visiting will continue from 9:00 AM until the time of Gary’s 10:00 AM Life Celebration at Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 955 N. Pine Rd. , Hampton Twp. A reception will follow in The Wesley Room at Skorupski’s.
