George Gotch, Jr, 92 of Streetsboro passed away Sunday June 10, 2018 at UH Portage Medical Center in Ravenna. He was born march 13, 1926 in Smithfield, PA to the late George and Minnie Gotch, Sr Mr. Gotch has lived in Streetsboro since 1957 and retired from TRW in Cleveland where he worked as a supervisor.

He was a member of St. Joan of Arc Church in Streetsboro was a veteran of the US Army 4th Division serving in WW II. He truly was a very avid Pittsburgh Steelers Fan. Survivors include his wife of 66 years Doris J. (Holub) Gotch whom he married May 20, 1952, his sons Gary and his wife Barbara Gotch of Hudson, Rick Gotch and his fiancé’ Rachel Conrad of Cuyahoga Falls and brother Edward (Lee) Gotch of Wickliffe.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Lucille Pranka, Eva Giardini, Dan, Mike, Sam, Steve and Nick Gotch. Private family services have been held at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Homes Streetsboro Chapel. The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project PO Box 758517, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8517.
