Norman Kittle 90 of Ravenna died Saturday, June 9, 2018. He was born December 14, 1927 in Beverly, WV to Charles and Hattie (Flint) Kittle. A Portage County resident since 1957, he was a US Air Force veteran, member of the Ravenna First United Methodist Church, Ravenna Moose and Ravenna Elks, where he was a past exalted ruler and held every chair at the Elks.

Norman worked for Ohio Bell and AT&T and retired at the age of 80 as a telephone installer for Kent State University. He loved playing cards with his grandchildren, family, friends and elk club members and taking vacations every year with his family. Survivors include his daughter Jennifer (Monty) Grafton, grandchildren Monty G. (Jackie Barnette) Grafton and Jenica L. (Matthew) Pickney, great grandchildren Evelynn Grace, Benjamin Alexander and Christian Montgomery and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Joan on February 7, 2014 and siblings Charles Kittle, Marguerite Scott and Audrey Pingiley. Calling hours will be from 5 PM to 8 PM Monday, June 18, 2018 with Ravenna Elks services at 5:00 PM Monday at Shorts Spicer Crislip Funeral Home Ravenna Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 AM Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at the funeral home with Reverend Gary Carlson officiating.

Burial will follow in Maple Grove Cemetery in Ravenna. In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to Harbor Light Hospice, 25 S. Main Street #7, Munroe Falls, OH 44262.
