Georgiane’s Obituary Georgiane Cook, 73, of Shawano, passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 in Green Bay. Born in Milwaukee on September 21, 1945, Gigi was the daughter of the late Howard and Mary (Suinicki) Warner. Gigi was a graduate of Wauwatosa High School.

On July 23, 1979 she was united in marriage to Robert Cook in Milwaukee. Gigi worked for DCI Marketing and Ad Tape and Label Company before moving to the Shawano area where she worked for the Village of Bonduel and the Clintonville Water Department before retiring. Gigi was the kind of woman who would bend over backwards to help people and was an active volunteer with two Red Hat Groups and the Shawano Lake Lioness Group.

In her free time she enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting, quilting, and baking. She was also a NASCAR fan. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling with her husband, Robert.

The couple took numerous fishing trips to Canada, enjoyed a beautiful Alaskan cruise together, and would often pack up the car and just “drive off” not knowing where they would end up. Georgiane is survived by: her husband, Robert; a sister, Mary Lynn (Rodney) Smith of Virginia; her beloved dog, Lucky; as well as other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Bob and Howard.

A memorial service for Gigi will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Bonduel with Rev. Timothy Shoup officiating. Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service.
