Sandra ‘Sandy”s Obituary Sandra L. Hess, age 71 of Gresham, died on Monday, February 25, 2019. Born on November 28, 1947 in Shawano, Sandy is the daughter of the late Harold R. and Beatrice (Cerveny) Neumeier. After graduating from Gresham High School in 1966, she attended cosmetology school in Green Bay.

Sandy has called the Gresham area ‘home’ all her life. On November 29, 1969, she was united in marriage to Lester ‘Buzzy’ Hess, Sr. The couple were members of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church in Gresham. Sandy relished spending time with her family and friends, going out for dinner – and could often be found at the Studio Lounge in Shawano or the Hidden Valley Supper Club in Caroline.

Sandy also enjoyed cooking, especially baking, spending time with her cat, Skipper, watching wildlife and being around animals. Sandy is survived by: her husband, Lester; their children, Brian (Elizabeth) Hess of Larsen, Jody (Scott) Bohm of Gresham, Lester ‘Mouse’ Hess of Gresham, Kimberly (fiancé, Kevin) Hess of Shawano, Bradley (Kara) Hess of Shawano; nine grandchildren, Kyle, Ava, Kaylee, Eli, Morgan, Hunter, Emmalee, Zayden and Delana. She is further survived by her siblings, Karen (Roland) Gasser, John Neumeier, Rick (Bev) Neumeier, Pat Neumeier, Jeff Neumeier and Joe (Joanne) Neumeier; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, and a daughter, Leslie. Private family services were held. Swedberg Funeral Home assisted the family with the arrangements.
