Obituary for Gerald “Buddy” Forest Skinner Gerald “Buddy” Forest Skinner, 63, of Walterboro, husband of Dale “Dee” Ann Skinner, passed away on Friday, November 9, 2018 at his residence. Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 6 o’clock to 8 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 12 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home.

Burial will be on Thursday, November 15, 2018 at 2 o’clock at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery, 524 Old Settlement Rd. , Sylva, NC 28779. Flowers will be accepted.

Buddy was born on July 24, 1955 in Bedford, Indiana, son of Verla Skinner of Bedford, Indiana and the late Gerald Skinner. He graduated from Eastern Green High School in Indiana. He loved boating, NASCAR and Carolina football.

Survivors including his wife Dee are: two sons: Brandon Millick (Star) of Indiana and Erik Millick (Heather) of Indiana; multiple grandchildren; one step daughter: Danielle Pope (Heather) of Summerville; one step son: Thomas Howard Pope, III of Summerville; three siblings: Sherri Hillenberg (Dennis) of Indiana, Ernie Porter of Indiana and Renee Smith (Jason) of Indiana. He was predeceased by his grandparents: Gerald Henry and Wilma “Polly” Skinner and Evett and Julia Parker. A memorial message may be written to the family by visiting our website at www.
