Obituary of Geraldine “Jeri” A Orrell Geraldine “Jeri” A. Orrell, 83, Marion went to be with the Lord at 8:58 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, 2019, in her home. She was born in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Richard and Priscilla (Kujawa) Seyferth on August 27, 1935. She married Richard E. Orrell, Sr., on June 9, 1960, and they shared 57 years together before he passed away on February 26, 2017.

Jeri graduated from Shawnee Mission High School in Overland Park, Kansas. She was a homemaker throughout her life and was completely dedicated to her family. She served her husband and family faithfully and often sacrificed for them.

She was a member of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority, Alpha Gamma Chi Chapter, and First United Methodist Church (Marion). Survivors include her children: Deborah Ann (Gordon “Skip”) Johnson, Lutz, FL; Charles Thomas (Ann Marie) Miller, V, Grand Rapids, MI; Richard E. (Dedra) Orrell, Jr., Sweetser; and Dr. James M. (Anna) Orrell, Marion; grandchildren: Lauren (Bradley) Hayden; Richard E. “Trey” Orrell, III; Riley Orrell; Sophia Orrell; Meghan Orrell; and Zoe Orrell; and brother, Richard L. Seyferth, Bolivia, NC. She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard (Priscilla) Seyferth; granddaughter, Miranda Orrell; and sister, Delphine Fleer.

The family will receive visitors from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 17, 2019, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave. , Marion, IN. Jeri’s funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, March 18, 2019, at First United Methodist Church, 624 S. Adams St., Marion, IN.

Pastor Jason Stanley will be officiating with burial following at Grant Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be directed to First United Methodist Church. Online condolences may be made at www.
