Gilles’ Obituary Gilles N. Beaulieu of Milford New Hampshire died on Jan. 10, 2019 in Milford, NH after a period of declining health. Mr. Beaulieu was born on December 25, 1925 in Lawrence, Massachusetts to Charles and Alphonsine Beaulieu.

He spent the first part of his life on the west side of Manchester and then moved to Nashua. Mr. Beaulieu was predeceased by his wife Muriel in 2013 with whom he shared close to forty years of marriage. He is survived by two sisters, Armande Proodian of Beverly, Massachusetts and Yoland Beaulieu of Newport, New Hampshire along with several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Beaulieu was predeceased by one brother, Bertrand Beaulieu and four sisters, Nancy Thibault, Martha Roberts, Lou Rouix, and Betty Nadeau. He also had five step-children, Brenda Baines Grady of Merrimack, David Baines of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Sandra Baines of Apopka, Florida, Lorna Floyd of Fort Collins, Colorado, and Darryl Baines of Raymond, New Hampshire. Mr. Beaulieu was extremely proud of his five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren, all of whom adored their “Pepere”.

A World War II veteran, Mr. Beaulieu was a Marine corporal and saw action on Guam in the Pacific theater. He was a member of American Legion Post #266 in Merrimack. He was a master cabinet maker for over forty years and spent many hours remodeling their summer home in Raymond.

Mr. Beaulieu enjoyed playing golf and for several years coordinated the twilight league at the Intervale Country Club in Manchester. An avid hockey fan, he closely followed the Boston Bruins. His family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff of Ledgewood Bay Assisted Care Facility in Milford for the kind and compassionate care that they provided to Mr. Beaulieu in his final years.

There are no calling hours. Private burial will be in the Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are through the Rivet Funeral Home and Crematorium of Merrimack.
