Gladys T. Treece, 96, of Oakboro, passed away Monday, October 1, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Treece was born January 30, 1922 in Chesterfield County, SC. She was also preceded in death by husband, Clyde Brown Treece.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM – 2:45 PM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at Providence Church of God, 12474 NC Hwy 24-27 in Locust, NC. The funeral service will follow in the church sanctuary at 3:00 PM officiated by Rev. Jerry Ingle.

Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery. Survivors include sons, Terry Treece and C. Gerald Treece both of Oakboro. Hartsell Funeral Home of Albemarle is serving the Treece family.
