Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of the late Kim Gregg Price, the son of Elaine Fowler Price of Gaffney and the late Glen Orman Price, Sr. and stepson of Joe Wayne Hayes of Gaffney. He was a graduate of Gaffney High School, worked in construction, and was a member of Crestview Baptist Church.

He loved gardening and was a jack of all trades who could fix anything. Surviving in addition to his mother and stepfather are two sons, Joshua Price and wife, Amanda of Fayetteville, NC and Lucas Price and wife, Tiffany of Rutherfordton, NC; his fiancé, Sharon Scruggs of Gaffney; two brothers, Vince Price of Gaffney and Gary Price and wife, Christie of Greenwood; three grandchildren, Corben Price, Merideth Price and Lily Price; and two nieces. In addition to his wife and father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dale Price.

A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Crestview Baptist Church, 3010 Chesnee Highway, Gaffney, SC 29341. The family will be at their respective homes.
