Glendle Wayne Garrison, 64, of Searcy, passed away June 16, 2018 at Unity Health in Searcy. He was born July 18, 1953 in Searcy. Glendle was a graduate of Searcy High School and attended ASU Beebe.

He accepted Christ at a young age and was baptized at 14 at First Baptist Church in Searcy. He loved people and had many friends. He volunteered with the Optimist Club and coached Peewee Football for over 20 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife Karen Diane Abbott Garrison in January of 2013. He is survived by his loving parents, Glendle B. and Lovetta Garrison of Searcy; son, Jacob Garrison (Emily) of Jonesboro; daughter, Mackenzie Simon (Tyler) of Ward; granddaughter, Madalyn Simon of Ward; and uncle, Joe Garrison (Leta) of Searcy; and one aunt, Juanita Hudspeth of Conway; as well as many cousins and friends. The children will have a memorial service at 1:00 pm, Tuesday, June 19.

2018 at West Race Baptist Church in Searcy with Bro. Joey McIntosh officiating. Memorial arrangements have been by Sullivan Funeral Care of Kensett.
