Glenn’s Obituary Glenn D. Brickey, 71, of Ironton, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord, on Thursday, January 24, 2019. Glenn was born on September 19, 1947, to the late Ruth L. Cameron Brickey Prichett and the late Henry “Bud” Brown. Glenn was a 1967 graduate of Ironton High School, and a self-employed carpenter.

Glenn served the Lord as a spiritual angel. Glenn would always help, do work for, and fix the homes for the elderly and the poor in the community. He enjoyed sports, music and teaching the youth.

If you wanted to find Glenn, all you had to do is find a community project, find the music, or just stop by and catch a game. Glenn dedicated his life to The Lord and his family. In addition to his parents, Glenn is preceded in death by, his lifelong companion Carla Brice, four brothers, Tommy, William, Johnny Brickey and Michael Prince; three sisters, Mary Lou, Sharon and Sandra Brickey He is survived by, son Robert (Jeannie) Brice, of Catlettsburg, Kentucky, daughter Kathy Brown of Columbus Ohio, sisters Joetta Brickey, Lou Verne (Horace) Miller, grandchildren Major (Kayla), Demetrius, Aaliyah, Kaitlyn, Bryce, Hildra, Tillesia, great grandchildren Marley, Elijah, and Axel, a special niece who he loved as a daughter Tracy Brickey and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Glenn will be greatly missed. We love you Daddy! !

Funeral service will be 12:00 p.m., Saturday, February 2, 2019 at Quinn Chapel A.M.E. Church, 715 Adams Street, Ironton, Ohio, with William Edwards and Randy Edwards officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until time of the service at the church. Tracy Brammer-Monroe Funeral Home, 518 South 6th Street, Ironton, Ohio is assisting the family.
