Nyle’s Obituary Nyle M. Pemberton, 78, of South Point, passed away Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland, KY. The Ironton native was born July 4, 1940, a son of the late Donald Pemberton and Virginia Bucklyn Pemberton Sorensen. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Moreland Pemberton.

Mr. Pemberton was a graduate of South Point High School and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was an employee of AK Steel for more than 31 years, loved gardening, golf and loved his dogs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: his 1st wife: Linda Patterson Pemberton a step-son: Dustin Jack Sutter a brother: Dale Pemberton a brother-in-law: Mac McDermitt In addition to his wife, he is survived by: two sons: Nyle Joseph Pemberton and Don Pemberton a step-son: Eric Sutter two sisters: Pat (Curtis) DeLong of Columbus, OH and Donna McDermitt of FL four grandchildren Memorial service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Phillips Funeral Home, 1004 South Seventh Street, Ironton, Ohio with Chaplain Randy Tate officiating.

Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery and friends may call Wednesday from 12:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
