Gloria L. “Tootsie” Jacobson, 77, of Dubuque passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at home surrounded by her family. Family and friends may gather from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Leonard Funeral Home and Crematory, 2595 Rockdale Rd. Dubuque.

Gloria was born on May 31, 1940 in Dubuque the daughter of John H. and Violet (McKeown) Morton. Gloria loved her family and had a special love for animals. She loved her interior decorating and beautiful things.

She is survived by her daughter’s, Sue (Mike) Herrick and Kelly (Scott) Miller; sisters, Rita M. Hicks and Marylou Morton; six grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and three special friends, Mary Gordon, Patricia Rodriguez and Shirley Dunne. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Carl “Jake” Jacobson; daughter, Kimberly Kiefer and son Dave Jamison; brothers, James “Jim” Morton and Wayne “Buddy” Morton; and a sister, Darlene Nauman. The family would like to thank hospice of Dubuque for their wonderful care they gave to Gloria especially her nurse Shirley.
