Gloria Maria Santa Cruz, age 81, went home to be with the Lord on August 19, 2016 in Venice, Florida. She was born in Humacao, Puerto Rico on April 16, 1935. Gloria is survived by her loving husband Adrian Santa Cruz; her son, Jorge Flecha; daughters, Ruth and her husband Nagarajan Devar, Carmen and her husband Damasio Gerena, Ana and her husband Conrad Downes, Aimee Cardona, Zully and her husband Jose Elias Benitez; and her dear sister, Rosita Vazquez.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Carmen Rivera; brother, Gilberto Selles, granddaughter, Ruth “Angel” Morales Santiago, and loved by her remaining 11 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held on August 27th, 2016 at 1pm at the chapel at Venice Memorial Gardens, 1950 Center Road, Venice, FL. In lieu of flowers, donations to: El Centro Cristiano El Shaddai, 119 Tamiami Trail, Suite A, Port Charlotte, FL 33953, would be greatly appreciated.
