Obituary for Goldie Marie Legas Johnson Goldie Marie Legas Johnson, 92, of Mt. Pleasant passed away peacefully Tue. May 29, 2018 in the South Connellsville Personal Care Home, while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Sept. 18, 1925 in Somerset County, a daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Rose Cane Legas. Goldie was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and great great grandmother.

Her family was the most important thing in her life and she enjoyed cooking and baking for them. Goldie will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her loving children, Judy A. Page of Mt. Pleasant, Darlene Werry and husband George of Mt.

Pleasant, Larry Johnson and wife Jacqueline of Connellsville, Kathie Werry and husband Ben of Georgia, Douglas Johnson and wife Laura of Latrobe, Kimberly Baughman and husband Glenn of Youngwood, and Kevin Johnson and wife Jill of Everson, her 16 grandchildren, her 13 great grandchildren, and her 2 great great grandchildren. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. In addition to her parents Goldie was predeceased by her husband Albert Reuben Johnson, a son Randy Johnson, her son-in-law A. Bruce Page, a grandchild, 7 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Family and friends will be received Thur. from 2-9 PM and Fri. from 10 AM – 1 PM, the hour of a Funeral Service ,in the Brooks Funeral Home Inc., 406 E. Washington St., Mt.

Pleasant (724-547-3800), with Blair Lowry officiating. A committal service and interment will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
