Rachel Grace Garner Corder, 63, of Asheboro, died Monday, January 21, 2019 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem. Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 25, 2019, at Riverside Baptist Church, Seagrove. Officiating will be Pastor Gene Avery, Rev.

Gerald Hussey and Pastor Chris Smith. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. A native of Randolph Co., NC, Grace was born January 17, 1956, the daughter of the late Wilbert and Nettie Hussey Garner.

She had been a hard worker at Bossong Hosiery and loyal member of Lamb of God. She was a strong woman of faith and was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt, and friend. She loved everyone and was loved by everyone, and will be sorely missed.

Grace is survived by her husband, Carlene Corder, of the home; daughters, Alison Corder Wilson and husband, Michael, of West End, NC, Jamie Corder Surratt and husband, Brantley, of Denton; sisters, Wilma Garner Maness, of Asheboro, Judy Garner Hussey, of Robbins, Lucille Garner Craven and husband, Alan, of Seagrove; grandchildren, Parker Wilson, Savannah Surratt, Sawyer Surratt; and many beloved extended family members. The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, January 24, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home. Memorials may be made to her church, Lamb of God, 220 Caudle Road, Randleman, NC 27317.
