Joyce Holsenbeck Dekle, 92, of Asheboro, NC, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. A native of Atlanta, GA, Mrs. Dekle was born July 29, 1926, the daughter of the late Julian and Florence Echols Holsenbeck. She was a resident of Brookdale Assisted Living for the the last few years but lived a majority of her life in Kinston, NC, where she was a retired teacher’s assistant and devoted member of First Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Dekle was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph, in 2012. Joyce is survived by her sons, Jerry and wife, Tami, Jim and wife, Donna, Jon and wife, Tina; and daughters, Kathy, Christy and husband, Bob, Kim and husband, Nicky; 11 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Randolph Hospice House, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
