Obituary for Mrs. Phoebe Schwemin Phoebe Gay Peters Schwemin, 85, of Asheboro, NC, died Saturday, December 29, 2018 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Memorial services will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2019, at Carillon Assisted Living of Asheboro, with Rev. Tommy Brown officiating.

A burial will be held in Bremen Cemetery, Bremen, IN. Born August 31, 1933 in Taylorsville, Il, Mrs. Schwemin was the daughter of the late Lee and Faye Hardin Peters. She was a homemaker and was a wonderful cook, enjoyed gardening and sewing, and was a member of the local homemaker’s club.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Schwemin was preceded in death by her husband, John Schwemin, sister, Hope Peters, and brothers, Darrell Peters, Roy Peters, Jerry Peters, and grandson, Brian Zeider. She is survived by her daughter, Nancy Zeider, son, Steve Myers (Annette), sister, Sonja Heldebrandt (Darrel); brother, Gene Peters; four grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to The Randolph Hospice House, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204.
