Ronald Curtis Redding, 80, of Asheboro, NC, died Thursday, February 7, 2019 at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Graveside services will be held 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, February 13, 2019, at Salisbury National Cemetery, with military honors provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard. Mr. Redding was born January 24, 1939, the son of the late Henry Worth Redding and Ethel Mae Lineberry Redding.

He had worked as a mechanic for Tex Racing, Stuart Furniture and Randolph Mills. Later he worked as a truck driver for MIllikan Sausage. Mr. Redding had served in the US Navy.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Redding was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Redding. Survivors include his daughter, Karen Redding and Jeff, of Asheboro; sons, Tony Stiltner; Cliff Redding and wife, Pam, all of Asheboro; 10 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 12, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home.
