Mark Anthony Alston July 12, 1954 – March 21, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Mark Anthony Alston was born to the late Lacy James Alston and Bertha Mae Covington Alston on July 12 1954. He departed this life Thursday, March 21, 2019. He attended Moore County schools and was a dedicated employee of Carthage Fabric Mills.

Mark gave his life to Christ at an early age and was always kind and considerate of others. He loved to draw and watching sports; especially basketball and football. Four of his siblings, Carolina Terry, Addie Alston, Bonnie Cagle and Harry Alston preceded him in death.

He leaves special memories to: his sisters, Gloria Maness (also his caregiver), Elizabeth Maness, husband, Dwight Philip Maness both of Asheboro and Donna Alston of Carthage; one brother, Jimmy Alston of Sophia, NC; and a host of other relatives and friends.
