Frances Louise McNeill, 89, of Sophia, NC, died Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Clapp’s Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hunt and Jason Hulin.

Burial will follow at Union Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Seagrove, NC. Born March 27, 1929 in Randolph Co., NC, Mrs. McNeill was the daughter of the late Vernon and Janette Bulla. She was retired from Black & Decker.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. McNeill was preceded in death by her husband, Arlie Jefferson McNeill; son, Ricky McNeill; daughter, Linda Janette McNeill; granddaughter Amanda Louise McNeill; brothers, Edsel Gordon, Maxton Gordon, and Donald Gordon. Mrs. McNeill is survived by her children, Louise Elrod and husband, Darrell, of Asheboro, Lynn McNeill and wife, Grace, of Asheboro, Debra Hulin and husband, Harold, of Lexington, Sharon McNeill of Asheboro, Terry McNeill of Asheboro; sister, Barbara Gordon Hinson of Randleman; 10 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:45 p.m., Thursday, at Ridge Funeral Home prior to the service.
