Tulah Mae Kennedy Foster, 81, of Asheboro, died peacefully Thursday, February 28, 2019, at The Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 5, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home Chapel, with Mr. Charles Reeder officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.

Born in Moore County, NC, on May 9, 1937, Mrs. Foster was the daughter of the late Jason Millard Kennedy and Esther Mae Brewer Kennedy. She was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved canning vegetables, and working in her garden and flower beds.

In addition to her parents, Tulah was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Worth Foster; son, Gary Lee Foster; brothers Earl Kennedy, Fred Kennedy, Roy Kennedy, Junior Kennedy, Clyde Kennedy, Jonah Kennedy; and sister, Thelma Kennedy. Survivors include her daughter, Kathy Foster Millikan and husband, Rodney, of Randleman; son, Ricky Lynn Foster and wife, Susan, of High Point; grandchildren, Brandon Laughlin, Travis Millikan, Cody Millikan, Jonathan Foster; great-grandchildren, Logan Laughlin, Aislyn Laughlin, Emma Millikan, and Haley Grace Millikan. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, March 4, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home.
