Clara Jean Woodell Edmondson, 67, of Franklinville, died Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at her home. Born in Randolph County, NC, on June 4, 1951, Clara was the daughter of the late Clarence Woodell and Ruth Estes Boggs Woodell. She was retired from the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market.

Clara was an avid gardener and loved planting flowers in her yard. She cooked and canned vegetables and jellies for her friends and family. Her collection of cookbooks, wind chimes and frogs was truly amazing.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Madison York. Surviving are her husband, Harold Lloyd “Eddie” Edmondson, of the home; daughters, Christy Lee York and husband, Christopher York, of Franklinville, Angela Dawn Harmon, of Ohio; son, Jesse Scott “Scottie” Houser, of Asheboro; sister, Joan Wall and husband, Troy Wall, of Randleman; brothers, Eddie Harshman and wife, Kimberly Harshman, of Holden Beach, Kenneth Woodell, of Asheboro; grandchildren, Dacota McDaniels, Joshua Randolph, Mekayla Harmon, Zain Harmon, Maranda York, and MaKenna York. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m., Friday, February 15, 2019, at Ridge Funeral Home and other times at the home.
