Obituary for Mr. Phillip Belo Phillip Eugene “Phil” Belo, 84, of Randleman, NC, died Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Woodland Hill Center in Asheboro. Funeral services will be conducted 3:00 p.m., Sunday, January 6, 2019, at St. Peter United Methodist Church, Randleman, with Rev. Marcia Oliver and Rev.

Roger Green officiating. The burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 7, 2019, at Randolph Memorial Park. A native of Randolph Co., NC, Mr. Belo was born November 14, 1934, the son of the late Wade and Virginia Evans Belo.

He was retired from the furniture manufacturing and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Archdale. He loved Atlanta Braves baseball and Carolina basketball. Mr. Belo is survived by his son, Tyrone Belo, of Randleman; step-children, Gwendolyn Green and husband, Roger, Phyllis Balfour, James Phillip Parsons and wife, Griszella, all of Randleman; sisters, Carolyn Hicks, of High Point, Hilda Battle and husband, Wilbur, of Trinity; brother, James Belo and wife, Joyce, of Greensboro; sister-in-law, Carolyn Belo, of Trinity; grandson, Antonio Oden; and nine step-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from to 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Sunday, January 6, 2018, prior to the service at the church. Memorials may be made to Bethel United Methodist Church, 3229 Old Glenola Road, Archdale, NC 27263. Upcoming Events Visitation JAN 6.
