Gregory “Gregg” Leigh Hicks February 15, 1955-July 25, 2018 Mishawaka-On July 25, 2018, Gregory Leigh Hicks went home to be with the Lord. Gregg was born on February 15, 1955 in Cincinnati, OH to Bernard and Betty (Richen) Hicks. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In Gregg’s sixty three years, he was welcomed in to the homes and hearts of thousands he touched over the air as a disc jockey, with the last 19 years having been spent at his second home, WFRN. Gregg was well known for his calm, comforting voice over the air and his unwavering faith in the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Gregg was also an incredibly creative artist and an avid reader.

He had many gifts and a wealth of knowledge. Aviation and IRL racing were a few of his favorite topics. He was always with his little buddy, his dog Masa.

Gregg is survived by his wife, Trang Nguyen Hicks of Mishawaka, IN; his daughter, Tami Wodtkey Hicks and husband, Bryan Wodtkey from Goshen/ Elkhart, IN: his grandson, Ethan Snyder of Goshen, and sister, Linda Riddle (Hicks) and husband, Bruce Riddle of Wellington, Florida. Visitation will be on Saturday, July 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. with funeral service at 4 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W.8th Street, Mishawaka. To leave the family an online condolence, please visit www.
