Patrick Douglas Burke Sr. March 17, 1942-September 25, 2018 Osceola-Patrick Douglas Burke Sr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Pat was born on March 17, 1942 in Plymouth, IN to the late Cecil and Dorothy (Miller) Burke. He was also preceded in death by his sister Linda Vergouwen and brother, Cecil “Don” Burke.

In 1964 he married Inge Brenner; she survives along with a daughter, Yvonne Rose Burke Smith (Mark Allen Smith); son, Patrick D. Burke Jr.; grandchildren, Madison, Cody, Mia, Bruce, Branden, Douglas and Dillen; 12 great grandchildren and sister, Rose Burke Gordon. Pat was a Carpenter and a member of Union Local 413. Pat loved his adventures, bear hunting in Canada, fishing at any hole that held water and he brought home any critter that needed his help, raccoon, skunk, squirrel or deer…he raised them all!

Pat was an outdoors man! The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 29 from 1 to 4 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, where a Memorial service will take place at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the family c/o Hahn Funeral Home.
