Karen Simmons July 10, 1943-September 3, 2018 Karen Simmons, 75, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 in the Hearth at Juday Creek in Granger. Karen was born on July 10, 1943 in Elkhart to Howard and Jane (Schrock) Clark. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Terry Clark.

On October 11, 1965 in Bristol, IN she married Terry Lee Simmons; he preceded her in death on October 7, 2015. Surviving is a son, Terry J. (Sue) Simmons of Elkhart; two daughters, Laurie Steffen of South Bend and Christine (Bryan) Simmons-Ely of Florida; three grandchildren and sister, Linda Dempsey of Bristol. Karen worked for Simmons and Sons Heating and Cooling.

A Memorial service will be on Sunday, September 9 at 3:30 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 Edison Rd. , Suite 122, Mishawaka, IN 46545 or any Animal Rescue.
