Lois M. Ganser March 21, 1927-October 10, 2018 Mishawaka-Lois M. Ganser, 91, passed away on Wednesday, October 10, 2018 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center, Mishawaka. Lois was born on March 21, 1927 in South Bend to Hal and Florence (Schul Theis) Blake. She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Greg Ganser.

On June 24, 1946 in St. Joseph Catholic Church as the former Lois Blake, she married Fredrick “Fred” J. Ganser; he preceded her in death on February 19, 2014. Surviving are her daughter, Chris (Paul) Lauder of Dallas, TX; son, Mark (Joyce) Ganser of Columbus, OH and Warren (Annie) Ganser of Osceola; daughter-in-law, Kaye Ganser of Mishawaka; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; sister, Joanne Blake and brother, John Blake. Lois was a loving caring person who loved her family dearly.

She enjoyed dancing with her number 1 dance partner, her husband Fred. Lois enjoyed playing Bridge and she achieved the rank of Bridge Champion, Life Master. Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, October 18 in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 19 in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka. Burial will follow in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka.
