Grover Cleveland Stiles, Jr., 78, of Chidester, AR passed away Monday, January 28, 2019 at his residence. Grover was born on July 10, 1940 in Willow, AR to the late Grover Cleveland, Sr. and Mollie Maline (Ross) Stiles. He retired from Partee Flooring Mill as a Millwright.

Grover loved airplanes from a very early age and loved flying planes logging many air miles just for pleasure. He also loved playing a harmonica, picking a guitar, singing, and taking his boat from Camden to the Mississippi River. He had a deep love for his many dogs, each one just as devoted to him till the end and he was very close to his brothers and sisters.

Grover was preceded in death by his parents; son Jacky Stiles; grandsons, Donald Stiles, Jr. and Brian Stiles; siblings, Jodie Stiles, Pearlene Yeager, Nancy Inez Finney, and Gene Stiles; and the mother of his children Mary Stiles. He is survived by his sons, Danny Draper and wife Ellen of Bismark, AR, Donald Stiles of Village, AR, David Stiles and wife Shelly of Stephens, AR, and Brad Stiles and wife Amy of Magnolia, AR; brothers, Phil Stiles and wife Martha of White Oak Lake, AR and Eddie Stiles and wife Charlotte of Percy, AR; and sister Opal Faye Harris and husband Joe of White Oak Lake, AR. A memorial visitation with the family will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday, February 1, 2019 at Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia, AR.
