Obituary for Harold Alley Sr. Harold Lawrence Alley Beals and Milbridge Harold Lawrence Alley Sr. , 84 , went to be with the Lord on September 8, 2018 at the Narraguagus Bay Healthcare Facility. He was born November 5, 1933 the son of the late Donald and Lizzie (Peabody) Alley. Harold graduated from Beal High School , class of 1952.
He also played on the 1951-52 Championship basketball team. Following high school he joined the military ,serving in the U.S. Coast Guard. He then worked for many years as a Lobster Fisherman, as well as an electrician.
Basketball was his passion, he enjoyed attending tournament week, and watching his grandchildren play. He also loved coaching his sons in little league. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and camping on Crumple Island, taking his grandchildren fishing.
He was an avid fan of the Celtics, Patriots, and Red Sox. He was a member of the Advent Christian Church of Beals. He is survived by the love of his life , his wife Cedora (Crowley) Alley ; his sons Harold Alley Jr, Dan Alley and wife Joanne; a daughter Jennifer (Alley) Phinney ; step-sons Calvin”Skipper” Pinkham and wife Renee , Randy Pinkham and fiance Amy , Veril “Suki” Pinkahma Jr. and wife Jessica ; grandchildren – Jared Alley and wife Sabrina , Heather Berry and husband Stephen , Nicole Savage and husband Chris, Courtney French and husband Steven , Erin Alley ,Rylee Phinney and boyfriend Josh Scoville ; step-grandchildren Isiah , Kristopher , Kassydee , Keyontae , Pearl and Carter Pinkham ; great grandchildren- Hailey , Faye , Landon , Emma , Robert, Bryce , Eliza , Eileen , Lucy , Quinn , Connor, and Alrivia ;a sister Angelina Smith and her husband Leon “Bud” ; brothers Wendell Alley and wife Joyce , Ordman Alley and wife Donna , Donald Alley Jr and friend Todd; brother-in-law Philmore Crowley ; best friends Lisa Cirone , Stanley Beal , and Bradley Woodward; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, as well as his cats Amber and Autumn .
In addition to his parents Donald and Lizzie Alley, he was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law Millard and Aura Crowley; step-daughters Laura and Aura Pinkham, and his beloved cats Half-Pint and Tramp. Friends may visit from 6-8 pm Wednesday September 12, 2018 at the Advent Christian Church, Beals, where funeral services will be held at 2pm the following day on Thursday September 13th. Interment will follow in Great Wass Cemetery, Beals.
