Obituary for Scott Chandler Scott “Oatsie” A. Chandler Jonesport Scott “Oatsie” A. Chandler, 51 died unexpectedly October 23, 2018 in Jonesport. He was born December 18, 1966 in Jonesport the son of the late Norman and Marie (Gray) Chandler. He was a 1987 graduate of Jonesport-Beals High School.
He loved working on the ocean and enjoyed his time on the boat working with Martin Alley, who he loved like a son. He enjoyed having company, and talking with all his facebook friends. His favorite past time was taking beautiful pictures of the sunset in West Jonesport.
He is survived by his loving wife Irma of 27 years; a brother Leroy Chandler and wife Noreen; a sister Betty Dow and husband Michael; mother-in-law Guyula Thompson ; sister-in-law Zelma Smith and husband Alton; nephews- Jeremy Chandler , Kyle Chandler and friend Kylie, and Christopher Dow; nieces- Patricia Stott and husband Stephen; great-nieces Kinsley-Mae, Macie, Abbie, Shelby, and Natalee;a special cousin Hazel Chandler, and special friends Leslie and Crystal Peabody. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his paternal grandparents William and Phyllis Chandler; maternal grandparents Clarence and Rose Gray; a special brother-in-law Gilbert Alley; father-in-law Ralph Thompson ; several aunts and uncles. Friends may visit with the family from 1pm until time of funeral services at 2pm on Saturday October 27, 2018 at the Beals Advent Christian Church.
