Obituary for Emma Burley It is with great sadness that the family of Emma Roberta Burley announces her passing after her 89thbirthday on Saturday October 13, 2018. Emma was born on September 11, 1929 to the late Clarence and late Annie (Martz) Clites. She joined one brother Earl and her three sisters Katherine, Dorthea and Helen, her husband Albert, and both of her daughters Linda and Carol in Heaven.

She is remembered by her living sibling, Clarence Burley and his wife Mildred, and her two son in laws, Larry Salyards and David Wills. She is lovingly remembered by her surviving grandchildren Katrina Salyards, Rachel Morse and her husband Ted, Krista Paxton and her husband Michael, and Derek Wills, her nieces and nephew Karen Sides and her husband Steve, Glenna Evans and her husband Ronald, Polly Groves and her husband Tom and Garry Burley and his wife Jeanne as well as her great-grandchildren Serenity Morse, Emmett Morse and Logan Wills. She will be missed by many and loved by all.

Emma Burley lived out her life with her family surrounding her. She was happy to be able to stay with her family until the end of her life. She spent her life caring for everyone she met whether it be the neighbor’s kids or her relatives and their children.

She enjoyed helping others and tending to their needs. She loved to sew quilts with her husband as well as keeping up houses by cooking, cleaning and gardening. She volunteered at her local church in Sunday School caring for children and babies of various ages.
