Obituary for Harold Forshey Harold L. “Gonzo” Forshey, 64, Altoona died Monday afternoon June 25, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. He was born September 15, 1953 in Altoona son of the late Ernest and Elizabeth L. (Barrett) Forshey. Surviving are seven siblings, Allen Dean (Iva) and James (Barbara) both of Altoona, Robert (Sue) of Bellwood, Richard (Amanda) of Tyrone, Gary (Doris) of Bellwood, Sally (Bruce) Hostler of Blandon,and Betty Jane (Roy) Hostler of Rock River, Wyoming; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by four siblings, John, Audrey Elway, Shirley Teeter and Ernie. Harold was a 1971 graduate of Bellwood Antis High School. He was formerly employed as a sales representative at Bellwood Auto Parts.

He was a former member of Pinecroft Volunteer Fire Dept. and Excelsior Fire Co. No. 1 Bellwood.

Harold enjoyed fast cars, drag racing, karaoke and gospel music. Friends will be received from 2-4pm Saturday, June 30, 2018 at Trinity United Methodist Church, Bellwood. A service to celebrate Harold’s life will be held at 4pm Saturday at the church.
