Harriet D. Sparks, 91, of Greensburg, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2018. She was born June 2, 1927, the daughter of the late Samuel H. Sparks Jr. and Mary Martin Sparks, of Greensburg.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by BBC Brown Boveri and its predecessors of South Greensburg, with more than 39 years of service. She was a member and elder of Westminster Presbyterian Church. Harriet is survived by a brother, Samuel H. Sparks III and his wife Judith, of Murrysville, and two nephews, Andrew Sparks, of Murrysville, and Jamie (Andrea) Sparks and their son Sam Sparks, of Fairfax, Va.

Her family appreciates the caregivers at St. Anne Home for the care and kindness provided to Harriet during her time there. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church, 1120 Harvey Ave. , Greensburg, PA 15601, or a charity of your choice.
