Obituary for Hassan Mekky Hassan Mohamed Mekky, 85 years old, Northbrook IL passed away on May 13, 2018. The loving father, grandfather, brother and uncle dedicated his life to serving others. He worked for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry and received his education from Cairo University.

He is survived by his brothers Mohamed Mohamed Mekky (67) and Salah Mohamed Mekky (77) and sister Samira Mohamed Mekky (74), his two children Hossam Mekky (54) and Nashwa Mekky (48), six grandchildren Omar Abdelhamid (23), Yasmeen Abdelhamid (20), Laila Abdelhamid (18) Zena Abdelhamid (16) Adam Mekky (16) Hannah Mekky (14) and 12 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 15 from 1:00pm until time of prayer service 2:15pm at N.H. Scott & Hanekamp Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Road, Glenview. (just south of Lake Ave.

on west side). Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Donations in his memory to the AIF at www.
