Hazel’s Obituary Hazel Mae Dennis a longtime Yale resident, passed away on Friday, January 18, 2019 in Pawnee, Ok. A graveside service will be held in the spring for both Hazel and Corky. Arrangements are entrusted to Palmer Marler Funeral Home, Cushing, OK.

Hazel was born on October 1, 1934 in Quay, Oklahoma to parents, Earl Raymond and Edna Mae Rist. She graduaged from Quay Schools and married the love of her life Kenneth Dennis on November 15, 1952 in Stillwater, Ok. To this union, Kenneth Earl “John”, Rose and Wanda were born.

They made their home north of Yale in Quay. In 1960, they moved into Yale. Hazel was a homemaker for many years and enjoyed making crafts for the fair, canning, and making jams and jellies.

Her most prized possession was her family, she loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. Hazel is survived by daughters Rose Reed of Yale, Wanda Simmons and husband Ernie of Stillwater, son Kenneth Earl “John” Dennis and wife Susan of Cleveland; sister, Betty Wise and husband Robert of Maramec; grandchildren Kenneth Earl Dennis and wife Courtney, Tara Trueblood and husband Eddie, Erin Blair and huband Mike, Dennis Anderson and wife Jordan, Morgan Martin and husband Kyle, Tyson Bradley and husband Shawn, Anita Barrett and husband Dustin, great grandchildren Hayden Dennis, Tessa Trueblood, Gracie and Henry Blair, Bentley Anderson, Kyler and Lettie Martin, Austin and Mackinzie Barrett. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons-in-law Bob Reed, Rick Baker and Jim Anderson, siblings, Dorothy Bell and Raymond Rist.
