Obituary for Helen Cody Helen Cody, 74, of Pine Bluff, passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018. She was born in Pine Bluff on August 5, 1944 to the late John Bennie and Nettie Walton. Helen was reared and received her education in Pine Bluff, attending Pine Bluff High School.

She earned her nursing degree from SEARK College. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for JRMC and Davis Life Care from which she retried. In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husband in, Glen Dale Cody.

Helen is survived by her children, Glen Eugene Cody (Jodell) of Hurst, Texas and Charlotte Ballard (Richard) of Pine Bluff; grandchildren, Abigail Valquez (Melissa), Kristina Lewis, Crystal Alvarez, and Nikki Cody; great-grandchildren, Jadis Mack-Ballard, Renee and R.J.
