Helen Conner Taylor July 16, 1936 – February 25, 2019 Share this obituary Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card Memorial services for Mrs. Helen Conner Taylor, age 82, of Silas, AL will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Cullomburg Baptist Church in Cullomburg, AL, with Reverend Butch Starks, Reverend Sammy Taylor, and Reverend Bill Goodwin officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Cullomburg Baptist Church. Another service for Mrs. Taylor will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 4, 2019 in Marietta, GA.

Interment will follow in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery in Marietta. Mrs. Taylor passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at her residence in Silas, AL. She is survived by her husband, Jim Taylor of Silas, AL; sons, Alan Conner of Atlanta, GA, Keith Conner of Lawrenceville, GA, and James Taylor of Pelham, AL; daughters, Leigh Anne Salter of Fort Worth, TX and Sharon Goodwin of Selma, AL; brothers, Grover Winslow, Jr. of Hemphill, TX and Stanley Winslow of Montgomery, AL; sisters, Mildred Jones of Daphne, AL, Edith Glassman of Cullomburg, AL, Jean Mosley of Cullomburg, AL, and Evelyn Black of Anniston, AL; thirteen grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Grover Winslow, Sr.; mother, Gussie Stanley Winslow; brother, Richard Winslow; and son, David Taylor. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to The Gideons International, Choctaw County Camp, P.O. Box 734 Butler, AL 36904 or Alabama Baptist Children’s Home, 6512 Grelot Road Mobile, AL 36695.
