Helen’s Obituary Helen Halcomb, age 68 of Cumberland, passed away on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, at the Corbin Baptist Health. She was born in Harlan on August 09, 1950 to Clayton and Lula Fields Halcomb. Helen worked 30 years for Manalapan Coal in traffic control and later became a Realtor and Real Estate Broker and opened Homes by Helen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Clayton and Lula Halcomb; brothers, Raymond and Willard Halcomb; sisters, Lorene Halcomb, Shirley Halcomb Roberts, Kathy Halcomb Mackey, and Deloris Halcomb Jarvis; and nephew, Shawn C. Bennett. She will be missed by her brothers, James (Sherry) Halcomb and Lonnie (Glenda) Halcomb of Ohio and Dennie Halcomb of Totz; sisters, Wilma Halcomb Bennett and husband, Donald, of Totz, Mablene Halcomb of Totz, Maureen Halcomb Pell and husband, Allen, of Ohio, and Beverly Halcomb Vanover of Cumberland; and a host of other family and friends. As she wished, private services were held for Helen with burial in the Totz Cemetery, Totz, KY.
