Helen has been a resident of Mundelein since 1963. She enjoyed gardening and was a dog lover. She is survived by her son Randy (Katie) Cook, her grandchildren Kelly (Michael) Samson and David Cook.

Helen was preceded in death by her son Gregory and her husband George. In lieu of flowers memorials to the Mundelein Fire Department 1000 N. Midlothian Rd. Mundelein, IL 60060.
